Actually I was wrong... If you go into the in game options menu you can enable sound by enabling the HighPass Filter (audio still has a very slight scratch/tick though, probably pushing the WiiU to it's limit since there's no noticeable FF effect)

Sameboy emulator is very demanding because it focuses in accuracy instead speed. @Radius4 built it recently

It's GB emulation though, it can't be that taxing? FF effect?

Audio only works when the High PassFilter is set to "remove dc offset" and "accurate" if it's set to "off" no audio.

It's damn close to fullspeed though.. Links awakening FPS dances around 56 fps.

EDIT: OK. Performance takes a pounding when playing a GBC rom OOA = 41 FPS

I think I can get it to full speed lowering the audio resampler quality, I get a 30% bump on PC, I'll add an option for that.

It was somewhat unrelated. Last year a bountysource started to get Mednafen PSX a dynarec core, which would then be ported over to Wii U, a guy was working on it but bailed. But that's another topic, sorry.

maybe, but I dunno if it's gonna be fast enough, try the next build it has (same game) multiplayer

Have you looked into a Neo-Geo CD Core for Retroarch? I found this https://github.com/joolswills/neocdsdl would it be possible to get it on WiiU?
