ROM Hack [Release/USUM] Pokémon Star - A Fully-featured Pokémon Sun and Moon Sequel Mod

for u that want to repack this game to base game
1)download hackingtoolkits3ds - ver9 . newer version will just extract ur 3ds/cia but not the bin file and cant repack back the etracted file.

2)download not-already-decrypted ultra moon or ultra sun. because the tools cant extract already decrypt 3ds/cia.

3)download this game garc (can find link in the main post). extract it.

4)run the tool, extract (if .3ds ,d) (if .cia , CE).
when ask extract bin? enter y.
the tools will extract the main game (.3ds/.cia) and the .bin too.

5)copy paste the folder/file " ExtractedRomFS , Banner.PNG , ICON1.PNG , ICON2.PNG " to the folder u extracted the 3ds/cia from the garc folder that u already extract.

6)when asked want to replace or not? replace all.

8)go back to the tools. rebuild (if .3ds , R) (if .cia , CR)
done.

you cant add custom mega evolutions as well as custom pokemon model in the sun,moon, ultra sun or ultra moon.... yet

Mega starmie is not included. Mega Arbok however, is now just a retexture for default color Seviper. Thought about making it Alolan Seviper with Poison/Fairy.
Basically no modified megas.

Only a handful retextures from Trendy made it into this mod, cuz the more I look at all the retextures the more I hate myself.

but Ultramoon runs only at 12-16 FPS.... i dont know what to do...

Ultra turtonatur, lurantis, golisopod are not in. Not even as shinies. I just...

Yea citra is already laggy. With my mod, its extra laggy.

Hello, how exactly can i install. I have never seen anything on romfs files and can't find anyway to figure out how to use them to run the mod.

the only way currently is through the citra emu. the a083 file currently crashes the game for whatever reason on console...

This reminds me of the days of SNES ROM hacking. Many hacks worked only on ZSNES and nothing else. Other emulators or even the real console resulted in a crash.

download citra from official website
on the installation step,install citra canary(tick it) .

for me,citra canary run 10fps(average) faster than citra nightly. avg get 25fps ingame. only drop to 18fps if the texture really demanding.

my spec:
i5 4670
gtx650ti sli
8gb ram

edit:
it also help for u to allocate more cpu usage to citra.
open task manager
find citra-qt.exe. open the path (click > symbol beside the process)
right click citra-qt.exe under the main, go to details
it will direct u to another citra-qt.exe
right click it,set priority , select high
click change process.

Doesn't work on 3ds it crashes the game. It's citra only until we figure out why it crashes
