If ur not playing 3D heavy games, games that need the software keyboard, doesnt require tick speed hack & would like a texture upscaler try mine :P
also your profpict isnt yandere enuf
How do I get the texture scaling working? The option is just grayed out.

No citra runs on 1 core only, those commits does not matter. Those are the simulated 3ds cpu threads which in citra is still managed by 1 core only.

Well wish it ran on more Cores, I have 4 but Shitty AMD :D

But would no have a clue where to begin lol, Maybe Auto Detect Number off Cores too Use..
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Anyways, some big news for Citra if you thought that they've abandoned Citra for Yuzu Switch Emulator.
http://gbatemp.net/threads/citra-new-3ds-emulator.365154/page-349#post-7807462

Not really, They are a lot of new comers working on yuzu, Some of the old Citra gang too, But they are still just as much active with Citra.

All this talk of cores got me curious, so I ran citra with different numbers of cores and some of the results are not what I was expecting. This was all done on an FX-6300, using @valentinvanelslande 's release 120, and using the first level of Kirby Planet Robobot with native resolution and no speed limit.

Setting affinity to all cores, framerate hovered around 68-69. Setting affinity to only one core lowered the framerate by about 2fps. Setting affinity to 2 cores lowered the framerate to around 37fps.
Setting affinity to 3 cores the result was around 45fps. Setting affinity to 4 or 5 cores was the same and it hovered around 54fps.

I know that citra doesn't actually run the game with multiple cores and only uses the other cores for other things, but it still surprised me that having only one core available is better than having two. Then again I don't know how citra works so this may be expected behavior and I'm just an idiot.

I only did a quick and dirty test in 2D and 3D Super Mario (one or four cores) with sickc's build.
2D feels a bit more responsive with one core, but that could have been my imagination. That being said, if I unlock the frame rate, it is a lot more stable with one core than with four.
3D Mario loses almost half the fps with one core.

General stuff that might contribute a little to this behaviour:
Some CPUs boost higher if you use fewer or one core. Some CPU cores (depending on model) share resources with each other and are not entirely independent. So maybe it helps if you only allow cores which don't have to share resources.

I don't know if this is known or if it's unexpected behavior, but Bravely Second reacts weirdly to the addticks option. Normally changing that affects the framerate along with the emulation speed if the cpu is too weak to run it 100%, but with this game the actual emulation speed remains at 100% but the framerate it runs at changes. Adding 0 ticks, framerate is locked to 30fps, adding anything between 7000-24000 the framerate seems to lock to 40, adding more than that locks the framerate down to 30 again.

Unlocking the speed in the graphics options works to make the game run faster.

PM me the link to the build please, thanks.
Which one of these Chinnese builds can run pokemon the fastest?

That Bulldozer build seems to help with fmv's (although im not sure its specific to that build) but seems to help with Devil Survivor 2 Record Breakers slowdown with fmv's

Nope. It's fake. Plus, how would it load 3DS Games when there's no source code for that "app". It's 100% fake. There won't be any mobile port for a 3DS Emulator anytime in this year or next year or maybe 5 years.

3ds is slower than gamecube, if phones can run dolphin then they should be able to run citra. not right now atleast since citra needs more optimizations

the phone can't run a game (with nice 3d )on dolphin without fps drops and stutters moments ,3ds is a bit like one wii with some games
can you run fast resident evil revelations ? it work on citra but with 20-30 fps now

hey guys
if its not legal ok no problem
can anyone share 3ds home menu for citra please

Don't know are we ?.. I think it maybe a real "config" we cannot share.
nand/data/<zeros>/sysdata/00010017/config

But at this point in time Home Menu on Citra is much Useless, As Launch A App are Game will just loop on Nintendo logo forever.

Is there a way to dump the log from the CMD Console that always opens along Citra, into a text file?
Because yeah, I still can't open Pokémon Omega Ruby with your builds, @valentinvanelslande.
No matter how many times I restart the emulator now, it just gives me a black screen after the intro.
I mean.. I'll attach a pic with the last entries that the console received, but I think that it'd be better if I could somehow dump the whole thing in a text file and share that instead.

Just in case, I tried executing "C:\Users\USER\Desktop\citra-windows-mingw-20180127-ce38e8a\citra-qt.exe > log.txt" on CMD, but yeah.. that didn't work.
