Seems like great stuff for the Switch. I get that it's portable, but especially if you like to go digital, those games can take up lots of space. Isn't DOOM over 20GB? With many large games headed to and already on the Switch, like LA Noire, the stock 32GB will run out soon, or even 256GB SD cards if you buy the entire library. Sure, you can buy multiple and hotswap, but that's not convenient.

I think that once micro SD cards either get to 512 or 1024 GB (1TB), then it should be a Micro SD EC. A Micro SD Extreme Capacity.

well it is being reported on by reputable tech sites
and it is not too far ahead of the 400gb so i doubt this is fake

At this point I'd rather just get a few smaller cards than pay the premium for more storage, at least for normal use. For the price of a 400GB card I could just get 3 200GB cards and swap them as needed.

Great for professional use though.

Don't expect it to cost anything less than what you paid for your Switch itself. High-capacity microSD cards are mad expensive. You'll probably be better off buying multiple lower-capacity cards, as you'll likely find them cheaper and on discount at times. Even 128GB is likely more than enough for now, unless you're planning on buying an inordinate number of games. There's only a couple really hefty games out so far.

Even a 200 GB card isn't too expensive, I think I saw them for 60 dollars or so?
