Hi I used to have a R4i SDHC but I bricked the card. I was wondering what is currently the best supported flashcard for running a NES Emulator. I see cards for every other emulator but none that specifically mention NES emulators. Any suggestions would be thankful. I am currently running luma3ds on my 3DS and 2DS. I have a basic flash card that can't run a NES emulator but it can run DS games fine.

The best is to use either Retroarch or @bubble2k16's NES emulator. Retroarch is mainly for the n3ds, for o3ds/o2ds @bubble2k16's emulators (currently NES, SNES, Genesis/SMS, and PCE/TG16) are quite a bit faster. You can find them here, for the NES emulator you can find it in the emus3ds release tab.

Also, you can unbrick many NDS carts now assuming someone has posted a full backup of the firmware. Check here to see if your cart is supported by the ntrboot flasher which can also be used to unbrick, many R4i SDHC carts are supported now.

Can you unbrick an R4i-SDHC B9S? I restored a backup from the 3ds guide that was for my flashcard and it just doesn't work no matter what I do now. It must've been a clone and the backup was the legit backup. Even using the backup provided from the r4i sdhc site doesn't work. So in the end I just bought an R4i Gold 3DS RTS which works good going back and forth.

Since you have luma, use VC injects

Usin Bubba's VirtuaNes and instead of using the built in cheat support, I just injected the Game Genie codes in the ROMs itself. Works flawlessly no errors. Thanks guys! Just saved me from having to buy a new Flash Card just for NES support.

I like Bubba's emulator, it has a clean interface and runs 59-60 fps. They have cheat support but often I find out out that codes somehow get disabled and just stop working after a while when I try to use them at a later time. The injecting the rom itself seems like the best way to do it. Don't have to worry about codes not working from the start. Also you can just use the modified roms in any emulator without depending on the emulator cheat support, so you not limited to just one or two.
