Hardware [Question] Will there be unofficial Switch replacement parts ?

Hi,

As the title says, will we be able one day to buy for example an OLED screen for the Switch and just replace the pannel ? Or a bigger one that covers all the front glass ? (Which is plastic, I know)

And of yes, how expensive do you think it will be ?

Iv seen the glass panel touch screen digitizer on there for sell on Aliexpress for $23 but not the full screen its self yet

Actually front replacements are available also. I got one and then looked at all the work it would take to do - it is way more complicated than the rear one.

Yep they do and I really do think we will see a better maybe slightly bigger screen for sell for it but it would need a case replacement for that.

I have only seen the digitizer for sell not the screen separate but if they are sold out that may be why i can not find it right now lol. But if they come out with a better screen I will be upgrading both my systems.

I agree though. If a third party can push out a better screen then an upgrade will be fun.

Plenty of parts for customization. I have done quite a few custom switches / joycons for others, being Chinese they do need a bit of tidying up before using.
