The thing is that i updated luma using luma updater on my old 3ds xl to v9.0 then updated the FW then i read that i must update b9s before
So am i in trouble ? Or is it okay
P.s i don't currently have my laptop with me so even if i wanted to update b9s i cant

It can come anytime. Non-updated b9s is not a problem at all (for now). You can be banned online, if you cheat or play game that is not out yet.

I have another question , is it possible to update b9s without a pc or by the 3ds only ?
And I only play smash an mk7 online without cheating so yay i guess
Anyway thanks alot :D

I assume because you don't want to take the sd card back out?

Do you have the homebrew FTPd installed? If you do, the easiest thing is to download the latest SafeB9SInstaller and boot9strap to your computer and extract them into a temp folder. Then FTP the contents over to your 3DS to the correct locationson the SD card. Once they are in the correct places, reboot into the Luma chainloader and run SafeB9SInstaller.

It is possible to do this entirely on the 3DS but it's a pain and you'll need to have the correct software. You'll need the multidownloader app to download the software aboce directly to the 3DS. Then you can use 3DShell to extract the zip files and move the files around.

** edit **
I just looked at the latest source of multidownloader and it seems to auto unzip after the download. That just means you need to use some other file manager to move the contents around. FBI would suffice.
