1. Copy "ace.nro" to "Reswitched" the "retroarch_switch.nro" can be placed anywhere.

2. Connect Switch in "Reswitched"

3. Open a New Terminal: ncat -klp 2991
3.1 This will run a ncat Server.

4. In the Reswitched Terminal type: runnro ace.nro
4.1 in the Terminal of 3 you should see a lot of Text which ends with the IP of the Switch.

5. Open a new Terminal (yes you have 3 Terminals open)
ncat --send-only SWITCHIP 2991 < /PATH/TO/retroarch_switch.nro

example: ncat --send-only 192.168.177.11 < /home/username/retroarch_switch.nro

I was getting that as well I just got it to work a few min ago, not sure its a fluke but I tried 2 things differently.

1st: I used Yardie's newest compiled linux box
2nd: My switch had never truly connected to the internet. I always set the connection up manually with the pegaswitch DNS and never let the connection hit the outside internet. The time I got it to work i cleared the manual network settings, reconnected using everything automatic and let the switch sit a min then manually set the pegaswitch DNS.

Try and see if this helps. I was about to give up and thought I'd give it one more try with these two changes and now it working perfect.

Does the most recent version of PegaSwitch come with the updated ace.nro file? I was using a fresh clone last night and trying for two hours to get it to work on both ubuntu and windows 10 with the linux subsystem.

The one that came with pegaswitch never worked for me. So I had to recompile it. It's in my vm image ready to run. I suggest you run that

I have linux on my computer(ubuntu 17.XX)
I connected my switch to internet once time just for update in 2.3.0
I try ace.nro from my pegaswitch and the ace.nro from zippshare file shared by ehnoha
If that work with you on virtual box
It will be able to work on real machine
