Ok, thanks so much! Does it matter if game is disc or digital? Mine is digital that installed with Wii U USB Helper.

ok so i have digital installed to usb drive. I run haxchi cfw (I'm not sure if this is even needed but i always do it anyway) then i run the latest tcp gecko from homebrew launcher. the one with dr. mario as an icon. then i launch paper mario then i run the trainer. Now i have paper mario tool version 3. which i don't see posted here anymore. so i'm not sure what version u have.

Yeah i also have no problem running v3 of the trainer only problem that happens every now and then is if the game is paused for little while it will loose connection to the trainer

Is yours digital and US version of game? My version is digital from Wii U USB Helper and US version of game. I tried some codes with J Gecko U, but that kept freezing game. Really want to use Trainer/Editor with this game

What do you do when lose connection to Trainer? Do you just need to reconnect again? Need to exit out of Trainer and game to reconnect?

mine rarely disconnects. if it does just connect again.

anyone find it odd that the guy who made the trainer says he can't get it to work and deletes the link even though the trainer is working fine?

How can you check version number? I don't remember if i used usb helper or downloaded from recopilacion site or used disc2app

i installed it using wup installer but i dont remember if i downloaded it from usb helper or the other site i mentioned or dumped my own disc.

it was most likely usb helper or downloaded from site thought cuz dumping discs takes far too long.

I have game installed, and an update I think. Is update needed? I will try trainer when get home from work.

You don't even need the latest of tcpgecko mine is still an old one and my game is installed from wiiu helper on ext hdd
