hey guys. So I've been following the mocha cfw method from wiiu.guide and I followed it 100% yet after I boot up mocha, I go to the home brew launcher and I am not seeing wupinstaller in the menu at all. I even tried downloading it through the App Store on there but when I do that, it shows apps download but still doesn't appear installed. I can't find anybody else with this issue anywhere. Do you guys have any idea what's going on? Thanks so much!

It's looking like I may have used the wrong allocation size formatting my 64GB SD card to FAT32. I'll let yas know how that goes in the morning when I'm done copying BOTW to it lol

Did you install haxchi?

If so, you dont need mocha. Or rednand. Wiiu.guide is full of shit. Mocha is only for people without haxchi who run the web exploit. Basically if you have haxchi, thats all you need. If you dont then use mocha by all means, but dont follow wiiu.guide for gods sake. Most people come here to fix their install after following that. Use Kaflukes guide instead!

Well I realize now that that the issue is files getting corrupted because the SD card doesn't like the way it get formatted to fat32. After a new format I got wupinstaller going but then when I added the y mod to the card the files kept corrupting and needed to reformat. Also the AppStore 1.5 never worked when downloading files. They showed up as corrupted folders with nothing on it when I checked the sd card.

I tried both the 32k and 64k formats and both leave a bunch of files corrupt. I just spent money I didn't have on this big ass SD card because I was told I needed double the Wii u hard drive. I really don't want to go get another one that's 32gb just so fat32 will work right. If I use exfat like normal nothing gets corrupted but of course it doesn't work. Does anybody know any other way to format that works? I'm using the Sandisk sdxc 64GB Class 10 which apparently works for others

I really appreciate the help guys. After all this work I gotta go to bed and work in 2 hours

I hear others have had success with other formatting tools like MiniTool so when I'm done work I'll try reformatting with that and see if it resolves this issue. If not I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and get another god damn SD card ffs lol

Alright so I'm finally passed the formatting issues and corruption. Used the SD formatter you mentioned (Which makes it exfat instead of fat32) and then you format with fat32formatter.exe through the command line. No more corruption and app store works!

However now my new issue, when I go to install BOTW (downloaded from wiiuhelper) through wup y mod it keeps saying that it's not a game, dlc, update, etc. I tried many different wup versions and tried renaming the folder, checked the files to make sure the download wasn't corrupt and still it doesn't work. The DLC seems to work though. I read another thread when others had this issue with BOTW and the only conclusion they found is that some SD cards won't install games over 8GB. So I'm gonna try Mario 3D world tonight and see if that works. If I can at least install some games I'll be happy this wasn't a 3 day waste of time.

This is a completely new issue now. Should we close this thread as resolved and make a new one for this issue?

New update. I have successfully installed 3 games under 5GB. I'm gonna try bayonetta 1 next which is bigger than botw and find out weather it's the file size it doesn't like or just that game specifically

Edit:No dice on Bayonetta. I saw one other thread with another guy having this issue with games over 8Gb and they said the ad card must be corrupted so I'm getting a new one. Hopefully 32GB meant for fat32 should work
