Homebrew Some questions regarding the 3ds

is there an app that can determine the firmware version from a flash dump? starting with 11.4, I've been putting each flash dump folders, but before I hadn't. since I've used decrypt 9, hourglass, and godmode to make flash dumps, I'm not sure which version several of them are. it doesn't help matters that each flash dump is named something different.

to restore a flash dump with godmode, do I need a script? could someone point me in the right direction for this? I only assume it's a script since I believe the dumping tool is in the script section. if it's not a script, where is it in godmode?

lastly, I was deleting unused tickets in fbi before remembering about tiksweep, which I've used before. a system title wouldn't show up as red, would it? is there a list somewhere of system titles for 11.6? I want to make sure I didn't delete any system tickets. one of the tickets tiksweep deleted was to an app/game called 3d visual experience which I don't remember installing. plus, one of the tickets I deleted was to what I thought was DKC Returns (according to the title key site). the game still appears and boots fine. I found the real title id on another site. anyway. I made a second flash dump just in case I deleted the wrong ticket. if I had, wouldn't the app/game disappear off the home screen?

Check for creating nand backup and the one to restore backup.

I figured knowing the firmware version - the app probably didn't exist since the NAND is encryped.

as for that, I don't believe I have that script. I have the NAND dumping one, which came with godmode, but I find it odd that the restoring script wasn't a part of that.

yeah, I plan to do that tomorrow. the default apps may be on wikipedia. I did test each app I had, and all worked. do you know how many apps there should be? I did shut the system off immediately when accessing the eshop when I remembered dlc no longer working if you do so. however, I deleted the unused tickets before that. btw, do you know if godmode can flash NANDs from decypt 9 or hourglass?

Sure, a full or trimmed nand backup is a nand backup, hardmod is a 4th equivalent option

do they have to be named something specific? I noticed that the NAND backups with godmode were all named the same thing. there's a numeric there that I don't understand the meaning of.

Different tools have different options of (manually selectable default) names, like a number 1 to 10 or the console's serial number - it doesn't matter if you rename them, it's just a convenience (especially when there was no clock driver and all files created by GM9 or predecessors had a fixed date in 2015)

so that mans the default names work? I'm assuming sys_min means the smallest possible NAND backup for my system. btw, how does godmode verify a NAND dump. with hourglass, you had a sha1 file, but you don't have that with godmode. is the NAND dump verified after the dump kinda like NAND flasher 360 on the xbox 360?

If you want,you could try decript9.It's Much more easier to do a nand backup and you have the sha. File
