With all the problems I see on Nintendo I would only buy a next revision but only when its cracked... My friend bought one with FW 2."something" and after a few days the speaker started making a huge high volume buzz, then he went to store and exchanged it with PS VR LOL...

On the 3DS I bought one and left it OFF for years until they released the first flashcard, I wouldnt risk doing the same to then have it hacked, play for a few months until the hardware gives a problem...

Why not? I'm a collector/casual gamer and have day 1 consoles on their shipped firmwares, aswell as additional ones on the latest versions.

One of my Switches will stay on 2.00 for as long as possible, even if it take years for piracy, as I'll gladly still buy originals in the meantime.
