i tested it on NESC, too. It works. Dual boot won't with current set-up. But, depending on how things go, changes may be made to make dual core compatible. Dual Core does work. Just not with the current release...only with unreleased code for now.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

no need to edit desktops anymore. I applied the bug fixes (11-14 Core Update), thanks to test results. I collaborated with dantheman827, and everyone else I credited, to get this whole process down to a T.
And modules work just like in your video? I assume the command line needs to be changed like before.

Any ideas about folders?

folders work. Dantheman827 did an hmod for them on the github I linked to i

If they work on your NESC/SNESC, given you correct the NAMES of the games, before copying over to the Flash Drive (to avoid unnecessary desktop file editing), you should be good to go. Some HMODS, such as fontfix, dual boot, and other non-Core (Emulator) ones, may not work properly, if not done right. But, a vast majority work, fine in the transfer over! I will do more videos on all of this, as time permits.

Could you explain where? i can't find any info/instruction how to manage and sort different roms on flash drive (mame games on mame folder, snes in snes folder etc...)

Alright, probably a no-no here, but i'm not getting anywhere with searching here or outside.

Is there a ready-made beginners pack for the SNES mini? I only want to use the built-in emulator, but i'd like to add as many games (and their appropriate box art) as possible.

I don't even need the roms per se, but it would be awesome if a pack had all the box art and all the folders set up properly. I just don't want to attempt to do all that work manually.

One question guys, I am using @DanTheMan827 dual boot where the controller soft reset did not work. Having recently installed multiboot fixes hmod which should make controller soft reset combination work (down+select) however it does not work either for the SNES games or NES games. Is there any solution for this?

Quick Summary from my observation.

USB3 drives/pen-drives does not work
Not compressed games working faster and better

Tested world cup 98, WWF Wrestlemania, Street Fighter EX 2 Plus, Diablo I, tony hawk 2, Tekken I, II, II, mortal kombat trilogy - all PSX games working without any issues with full speed.

folders work. Dantheman827 did an hmod for them on the github I linked to i

Can't find anything how sort games to folders (mean how to create folder for mame games, PSX games, snes games on external drive)

N64 emulation, which is the better alternative? As far as I know, there's GLupen64 and Mupen64Plus for RetroArch. Also, has anybody done a compatability list on the SNESC, regarding N64? Thanks.

I did a video with a handful of N64 games and from what I could tell, Glupen seemed to run them faster. Mupen makes them look better but there's significant slowdown.

I'm trying to play Bee 52 and it said the mapper was not supported but may work with another emulator. What do I put in the command line arguments ? --retroarch --nestopia ?

I have the use_nestopia hmod, if that makes a difference. But the command line doesn't have the /bin command at the start.

Today's Core Set Update:) UPDATE 11-17-17 USB-HOST Expandable Storage Modification:) Updated proper fontfix.hmod to use, along with tiny7zx-dynamic.hmod, to cover Font Issues, as well as allow ability to run 7z. SNES-Genesis-GBA, etc Games:) The Font Set-Up May change, for the better, in the NEXT Update! I also put together a quick USB-HOST Cheat Sheet, which should be helpful in quickly getting things going! You will also notice a custom method of adding Folders to USB-HOST Storage Device, as well! (Also, thanks to DanTheMan827) Read the Cheat Sheet for info on this method! Otherwise, I updated MAME 2003, BlueMSX, RetroArch (FCEUMM), FBA 2016. I also threw in a few more Shaders into Extreme Filters (crt-bp.glsl, crt-bp-warm.glslp, and crt-bp-cool.glslp Thanks to bparker06 for passing these my way!!!!!) I am paying attention to any and all feedback about USB-HOST, which again, is the pet-project of madmonkey:) I will do as much Updating and Optimization as I can, to more optimize things, and make it more user-friendly, day by day! There are some very advanced things that can be done with USB-HOST! But, these sorts of things will be gone into more detail about, as time permits! Enjoy Today's Update!!! https://github.com/KMFDManic/NESC-SNESC-Modifications/releases/ And, here is a Redux Video, going over a few of these changes:) (

Did you happen to test Mario kart 64... This is like one of the main games from N64 I would love you play but can't because of alowdowns and freeze.

Sooo..has anybody tried the new usb host setup with a micro sd usb reader? That would be the shit..other than investing in a Rasp Pi..

im no expert by any means but could you power up and use space on a pc tower or laptop i have a laptop without a screen and would have no problems letting it sit under the snes and connecting to tv for setting up the games

I'm having a font issue. I've translated a string file (language file) but it appears one letter is missing in the font. The swedish letter å/Å is left out when trying to use it. "Bakåt" becomes "Bakt". Any ideas?
