Gaming US/UM Ultra Wormhole stuff

Waaaay too late now. I can try to get a shot of another something when it shows up, but it's not that spectacular. I'd probably be better off showing "clover" wormholes (100% legendary 'mon) vs ring/double-ring wormholes.

Yeah I just want to know what to look for, but I guess it'd stand out lol

I'll eventually make my own, but I'm in the process of getting the shiny legends I can, trading some legends from M to UM to get the remaining ones and seeing if the Surfing Pikachu event from past gens unlocks anything in Pikachu valley.

Anyone knows if you can revisit the worlds of legendaries after you catch them or if they vanish forever upon exiting?

As for the shiny chance, here's to clarify:
Legendaries/UBs have a 1/4096 chance to be shiny and the shininess is determined when the battle starts, so you can only soft-reset for nature and IVs. Non-legendaries/non-UBs are determined as shiny or not the moment you enter the area, so you can soft-reset and they will still be there for you to battle as shiny, so reset until you get one with the nature you want! They also have 1/4096 chance to be shiny though, so heads up.

Once you get them, that's it. Checked PKHeX and there are flags....so, I guess you could check the flags and catch them after that.....even though you could just create them.

Shiny Pokemon are universally 1/4096 chance to appear and 3/4096 with shiny charm. As for revisiting, I meant it as in, you go to a legendary's world, catch it, then exit. Can you end up in that world again but it'll be empty or will it be locked and unaccessible? I'm just trying to see if we have to worry about wasting time only to end up in an empty world...

you cant find that world again. (thats not really how it works, but you wont ever get an empty world.)

as for shinies, there is no possible way that wormhole rates are the same. I already have 5.

To be specific, legendaries are 1/4096, but for normal mons it's assumed to be that, there's not an exact rate. Could very well be 1/20 for all we know, but it will be a while until we know for certain!

I have. They are literally in the story after Ultra Necrozma (Poipole) and before Rainbow Rocket (Stakataka). You only get one Poipole and two Stakatakas in the entire game though...

I think after you farmed every legend, you'll only encounter UB holes (including 100%'s) and everything else will be "common", but to farm everything, you need the other version's legendary 'mon. I also think the data has to be from Ultra Wormhole and may not trigger new legends if you trade from a past gen, i.e. you can't trade a gen 6 Kyorge to UM and expect a Rayquaza to show up. Still need to test it, but I want to farm every legend UM has first.

I believe you have to catch it. Don't know about K.O.'ing a legend. I'll try after testing a few other things.

Just wanted to make sure, entered one, realized I didn't have the stuff to SR for nature, and didn't want to leave and be screwed out. I assume that I'd be fine, since at worst you'd need a championship clear to reset any that you KO (as it is in the other ones), but never hurts to be sure.

After you become Champion, there will be an event at your house where the Ultra Recon Squad and Hau will visit and ask you for help, so you go to Poni Wilds (area under Poni Plains and above Poni Breaker Coast that unlocks end-game), then you are asked to catch or defeat two of them.

Btw, I'm curious about leaving without encountering the legendary in it's world myself, since I want to catch some that are exclusive to US after I catch the ones I want from UM. For example, I don't want Palkia but Dialga, so if I end up in Palkia's world and exit, will it be locked? Currently soft-resetting for Lugia, want a Timid or Bold one...
