So I'm not so much asking how to transfer sav files as I found a method on this forum but I'm wondering how to find certain sav files on my SD card (mainly of undubs) as I tried a method requiring me to check the files against this site http://3dsdb.com/ so what I'm asking is how do I find the .sav files for these games. I'm planning to update my 3ds to b9s...I have been unactive for a while....I'm currently on 11.2 or 3 with luma and I use GW. I'm only updating so I can play the new Pokemon game I bought with my husband! But I wanna transfer my save files so I don't lose them. I'm sorry if I sound incoherent. I will explain more if I need to. I appreciate any help that I can get.

You might have deleted them?
I actually thought that too! Then I opened up GW which at first I had no idea how to do then I figured out somehow. Loaded up all 3 games and the save files were intact. I figured one reason is the title id could be different as the three are undubs but the forth is Dragon quest vii? So I don't know.
EDIT: No idea if this is helpful or not but just out of curiosity I downloaded the Save Data Transfer tool (question 1 do I need to update my fw to use it?). It seems to recognize 3 out of the 4 games...and only them it recognizes Dragon Quest VII, EOU2, and SMTDSSH but it doesn't recognize RF4. And I can't find these savs on the root. And again I checked about 10 other games (maybe 15) and it doesn't recognize any other games. Should I try it?

Well, I have had time...so I tried to Save Data Transfer....and I need to update to use that...so I tried looking for my .sav's again however I have had no luck. Is there anywhere else it could be then on the root of the SD Card? Otherwise I'm positive it'son the root it's just one of my unknown .sav files then....
