Homebrew mod that removes miiverse icon?

I'm also interested in this. I'd like to change the icon and make the button launch the Rosalina HBL.

Changing the Icon is kinda tricky.
It does work but you need to know that the icon is mirrored in the middle.
Here's an example:

For the banner I used:
- Blender
- Autodesk 3DS Max
- NintendoWare CreativeStudio
- NintendoWare 3DEditor

For the Icon I used:
- A tool to modify darc-archives
- bclim Editor
- Gimp

For both I used a tool to decompress and recompress Files from/to LZ11

Seems like it would be easy to make a light and dark green "H" icon (Miiverse style) because both sides are the same. All I need to know is how to change the icon and how to change it's function. Hopefully somebody will come through.

well the homebrew logo could be modified to be more symmetrical so it can fit well, it's just the wave that pokes a little issue that we need to change

unfortunately not.
The Homebrew Launcher needs to be rewritten for that

If you want it to close your other app then yes that's possible but if you want to have your other app open while you launch homebrew then homebrew would need to be rewritten as xXDungeon_CrawlerXx said

I think it's likely. I mean look at all the other things 3ds modders have done I mean now you can hack a 3ds with a magnet. I don't think this would be a big stretch

It's not that easy.
The Icon itself is mirrored in the middle so you have to use a Capital Letter "H" instead of the "h".
If you want to create the real homebrew Icon with a capital Letter, you're free to do it.
Don't forget you've to work with only black and white
