Hmm trying to get DKong and Space Invaders on mame2003 with working Samples.
I was watching a video called -
SNES Classic - Fix Missing Sound in MAME Games:)

During watching the video he opens the User_mods folder to where he has
Mame_samples.hmod

I tried to open mine, tho this folder doesn't exist :(

What am I doing wrong?

I am just looking at upgrading my NES Mini with the latest MODS etc and even doing a Dual-Boot.

Question: is km_retroarch_crt_hack_7_6_17 still valid? or are the filters now built into RetroArch?

Thanks

I see that now the SNES Mini has been released the CRT hack is in 'Dependencies & Extras' folder - _km_retroarch_crt_hack_nesc_only_8_24_17.hmod

Maybe not everyone is aware of a recent bug (introduced since hakchi 2.21c)... probably the next release (2.21f ?) will solve the issue.

"Cluster implemented something into his hakchi mod that infinitely executes a command.
Besides causing slowdowns in specific emulators, it also potentially might reduce the nands lifespan, so this issue is very critical and should not be ignored."

Can you please elaborate on using these folders. Point me to a tut or something? what do you do with "mame_bios.hmod" and "mame_samples.hmod" folders? What are pertinent samples? I don't understand. Thanks for all the great work!
I haven't used the bios or samples hmods. In that folder he's talking about (which doesn't come with cluster's release, you have to get it from Manic's github) there is a mame2003 hmodthat you need to install.

It auto-detects the frame that you chose in the SNES Classic settings. The only difference is that animated borders will remain static.

But the problem is, the snes mini frames don't work with scanlines off in retroarch :D

Found out that it just added some nice custom frames.
But everytime i start a retroarch game, i have to choose the frame again in the retroarch menu :/
Any way to fix that?

Btw sry for my bad english :D

Another question

Why does secret of evermore (G) randomly crashes every now and then?
Play it with retroarch

Hello,
sorry for question. I remember a fantastic action game called Abuse.

Is there a DOS/Raspberry port of game... is there any chance to see this game 'ported' to MiniSnes ?

thank you,
m.
