Sure, everybody is gonna want to play it their own way though. The interesting thing about this game is that it's not all about the farming, in fact you can do zero farming if you want to. Combat/mining, fishing, or just socializing are all their own activities in this game, and you can focus on any of them to earn money. OTOH, the farming isn't hard at all. As long as you till the soil, drop seeds, and water once a day, 90% of what you plant will grow as intended. Other than that it's just about clearing out space and laying things out as you please.
Like I said, Harvest Moon x Animal Crossing (which is kinda what Friends of Mineral Town was I guess). The game gives you a ton of freedom, but it also has a day/night cycle, so what you can do and when is limited ofc.
