Hacking R4 or TWLoader

I have a n3ds XL on 11.6 with 32gb memory card which is already full, i'm planning to play some ds games, i find twloader but when i see the compatibility list the games i want to play is either not compatible or not in the list.

In the long run which one is better buying an R4 cart for ~$10 or use twloader and upgrade my sd to 64gb for ~$25? I have some old 8gb sd for r4 so i don't need to buy any.

How is the twloader compatibility list growing rate?

Can both R4 and twloader play a modded/fan-translation games if the original one compatible?

I'm not planning to play it soon maybe in 3months or so.

r4 way to the go.
twloader is not as capablity yest but maybe one day. for now, get an flash and get a,ll the compatibilities you will wanting, such as the an hard games to emulate.! recommend gateway blue crat.

Gateway card is $100 here that is way too expensive than i like to spen just to play nds game, i can grab a dsi xl for half the price. Maybe i will consider r4 rts it's just ~$10 here. Do you know twloader compatibility list grow rate these past few months? I'm not in a hurry to play the ds because i have some backlog games myself. Can r4 used side by side with twloader? i mean both games from r4 and sd listed together?

an r4 wil work fines.
twloader roms have to be on internal system sd storag, and r4 games on r4 sd storage, so not really same no

The seller said the card use kernel from here http://www.r4i-sdhc.com , will it work on my 3ds firmware 11.6? It said on the site it only support 10.5, or can i use other kernel?
