you need your console the flashcard and your console will need a sd card for your system (the bigger the better)
the flashcard uses microsd (microsd not needed for this exploit) and goes in the game slot

Actually I think you will need a microSD for the flashcart, if doing the single system version (you need to be able to run an nds file).

Hi guys, I got my card today. I warned you that I was a dummy. I followed this guide: https://3ds.guide/flashing-ntrboot-(3ds-single-system) . I put this on the microsd that came with the flash card.
(I took a picture instead of a screenshot for the sake of speed.) When I put the microsd in the flashcard, and put the flashcard in the 3ds, it showed the same icon for some Japanese konami ga is as it did before, and when I tried to launch it, it just turned the screen white for a moment, then black. It didn't do anything else. I know I'm probably missing something obvious, so please help me out. I'm an idiot.

Btrboot needs to be flashed on the cart first. For this you need 3ds with a cfw. You can check the trading section on the forum, there are people who will flash your system, free of charge. Just check uf you have someone close by

You need to add the flashcards firmware to the SD card used in the Flashcard or it will do that, check the site you bought it from and download the needed files and add them to the SD card then it should work

Did you set up your flashcard to working order before trying NTRBootHaX because you have to have the kernel present for it to even load. Then you copy ak2i_ntrcardhax_flasher_dsi.nds to it, and load it to run the flasher.

Here you go man http://r4ids.cn/r4i-download-e.htm (I have the same card) Just scroll down until you see WoodR4 and download that and put the files on your flashcard SD.

Sorry, I'm a complete begginer. And the site I bought from somehow gave me the idea that there was preinstalled stuff on there. I probably misinterpreted something. I knew it looked empty, but I thought I had followed the guide correctly, and couldn't find much more information on the matter when I tried to research it. I'm sorry. I don't know which download from this site I need.http://r4ids.cn/r4i-download-e.htm I don't want to download the wrong thing and screw myself over even more.

I told you, scroll down until you see "New WoodR4" it's like halfway down the page, download that and put it on your flashcards SD card.

Ignore the pictures, because WoodR4 is universal to many different versions of the R4. Don't assume you're downloading the wrong file because the picture doesn't match.
