First test was from wii vc 243mhz 94 times 60 seconds

From vwii side, 243mhz 95 times 60 seconds, i timed the seconds and it was accurate.
awesome thanks, so wii, vwii and wii vc are very comparable with such a timing test, which means I guess now I can think about messing a bit with the clocks in the next few days and see what comes out in the end...

you ever need any thing else tested let me know, I'm always happy to help out.

I know what you mean, WarioWare: Smooth Moves looks terrible stretched from 4:3 to Widescreen.

When I used USB Loader forwarder channels from the vWii menu, I was able to do this by adjusting the Title ID, as the vWii will use the TitleID to autoforce Virtual Console games to 4:3. I haven't found a way to do the same thing with injections yet, but I will keep you posted.

Most TVs allow you to force 4:3, it's not ideal because it's not automatic but at least a workaround exists.
Have you tried exchaging the title id to the Wii iso itself to a vWii VC one?

If the first char is "N" for example it will take it as a N64 VC, will try with product_id, although I think it only serves as internal Nintendo releases id and do nothing lol.

If you're talking about the WUP-N-XXXX code, yea that's worthless. The TitleID flag in vWii is to force 4:3 is only for when you are launching channels from there unfortunately, it reads the TitleID of the channel itself to accomplish that (which actually made forcing 4:3 for USB Loader game forwarder channels super easy)

Bummer, still there's a list of VC prefixes:
C=Commodore 64
P/Q=PC Engine
X=MSX
N=N64
F=Famicom
J=SNES
L=Genesis
E=NeoGeo
E=Arcade

:P

Maybe @Cyan @GreyWolf could help us in this one, I guess an autobooter USB loader could be a solution, ala nintendont.

Hi,
I created a Mario Sunshine inject with this script (autoboot enabled) and it boots fine. However at the file selection screen I get the message "Memory Card in Slot A is corrupted and needs formatting". The same ninmem.raw works perfectly fine if I boot the game with Nintendont from vWii HBC itself.
Why is the ninmem.raw detected as corrupted from the inject?? It's a 8MB ninmem.raw which contains all of my GC saves.

Is there something I need to change for inject memory card emulation?? Nintendont is the latest .dol from 09/24.

Thanks for your help in advance.

the shoulder buttons on the gamepad arent analog like on gamecube, walking around worked by only pressing down the gamecube analog trigger halfway, to emulate that on nintendont while pressing ZL/ZR hold down L.

Thanks awesome thanks!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I think one of the L buttons throttles your spray

Thanks! will give it a shot

rename the savefile to GMSP.raw

Edit: wait, if this savefile contains saves of all your games, you should somehow split it for every game. I don't know how, but try to use dolphin emulator

What region is your Super Mario Sunshine dump and what region are the rest of your games? Nintendont is very blatant that memory card sizes higher than 251blocks are unstable, so this may be a side effect of that.

If you are using one virtual memory card for all your games, then the recommended size would be 251 blocks. If this isn't sufficient space, turn off the memory card multi option and set the memory card size to 59, and a 59 block memory card will be generated for every individual game which should be more than sufficient.

so...how this works for Gamecube games? did pretty well with wii games,but gamecube games ,the game just doesn't boot

my console is US and im i just use cfw sign and my vwii its hacked as well

Did you name your GameCube game as game.gcm? Did you install Nintendont on your SD card? Have you ever even used Nintendont before?

Guys, just so I've got this figured out...

I see Not64 and I also see WiiSXR in this thread: Can we get them to be launchers as well just like Nintendont? I've seen Ploggys video but not sure how he's managed to do it.

Thanks, I'll try that! Splitting should be possible with Dolphin's memory card manager. Perhaps it's really better to have individual memcard emulation for each game - less chance of corruption.

I only use PAL dumps. Thanks for your advice, I'll try switching to individual mem cards for each game :)
