When I launch Nintendont (WiiVC) or NGC game from the WIIU home menu I get black screen after "wii"
Why ? :(

WIIU EUR 5.5.2 CBHC CFW
Nintendont installed in nand
SD 4GB FAT32
SD:\\apps\nintendont\boot.dol (latest version)
The nintendont forwarder for vwii installed too

PS: When I launch Nintendont from HBC it works

Tried to make SADX (GC) and it gives me an error.
"WIT FAILED TO REPACK YOUR GAME. YOUR SOURCE GAME IS PROBABLY BAD.
CLEAN ISO DUMPS ARE RECOMMEND."
The game is from Emuparadise

Make sure you've saved your file as game.gcm, not game.iso.

I hope the beta fixes things for me. I've been trying to repack Project Zero/Fatal Frame IV into a wii pack but it has always black screened, I even tried adding a patched FW.img to the package while it is working but thus far I had no luck making a repack that won't just blackscreen on boot, so hard that only way to recover is to pull the plug from the console. Wii U is painful with wii crashes...

Beta is more about GameCube stuff than anything else. I doubt it will solve Wii issue.

Depends, WBFS handling has been reworked for more stability (if that's even your source), so give it another try. Post the logs here if it fails. I can also test the games if you like.

@ploggy has identified an issue with the homebrew ISO base that may be causing some of the speed issues we are seeing with Nintendont, I am testing with a different base now. Thanks for investigating this.

So since I've now read multiple times that especially during saving and loading from memory card it slows down I wonder if the nintendont main thread just had too little priority over the di2sd thread, so I wonder if this build helps speed.

Does not change anything for me. I'm using Luigi's Mansion (Eur), The "Nintendo" voice is really slow when the game boots (it probably loads saves at this moment), and every save takes approximately 15 seconds with choppy sound.

my setup :
Wii U (Eur) 5.5.1 with Haxchi (latest)
Nintendon't forwarder converted to Wii U Wii VC (with KhaderWelaye's 2.0.0 beta script, thanks to him) installed on USB
Luigi's Mansion 1:1 ISO (EUR 1.1) packed in Wii VC ISO
16Go SD card(Toshiba FlashAir)

Settings :
Memcard emulation (1 file per game)
16/9 mode (Wii U)

EDIT : BTW I did not added the latest patch you gave for fw.img, my report is probably useless...sorry.

Last edited by Badablek,
I can't rotate the pad inputs when I press "-", That means Crash Nitro Kart now plays like Mario Kart 8 xdxdxd
Everything else is working fine [excluding the memorycard slows], I will upload my templates for gcn games, hope someone else likes em

Exactly what I did, it asked me something about Nintendont and didn't ask me about gamepad support

Post the log.txt and errorlog.txt (The error says to post the logs :P)

Edit: Oh jk that error doesn't say to post the logs, I should fix that.

I'm not sure if anyone can help with this issue but I was trying to get a gamecube title working last night but all I got was a black screen instead, its not the install at fault I thinks its to do with the boot.dol file in apps/Nintendont... folder because it does the same for Nintendont in the vwii side as well just a black screen booting the app it will not launch at all. I tried to delete the meta.xml and .png file and leave just the boot.dol file in apps/Nintendont.. folder but that would not work, it seems it needs the boot.dol & meta.xml file in the folder and that gave me a boot.elf error black screen booting into the game. I built the loader.dol file from scratch from Fix94's master folder but it still would not work. I also put the boot.elf file on the route of my sd card but that didn't do anything for me either does anyone know please what might be wrong for me? Thanks
Did you insert fix94's forwarding dol in the sys folder and re name it to main.dol?

Can you inject the main.dol directly to the iso?
I'm trying to use the script, but it seems it produce the slowdown that we are experiencing

nvm, the script will probably overwrite it

Mine are all installed to my usb that might be the problem? but again it does not work in vwii either?
Mine is on usb, the only problem with a black screen is a game that isn't ripped correctly, but in your case i think its your forwarding dol

Got to Nintendont, but when I try to open the USB storage it says it couldn't find a FAT Storage.
Any hints?
I think USB is not available when you are using Nintendont through Wii VC, sadly :/
Only through SD if you are using Wii VC. USB should work in vWii though.
I wish we could load from USB in Wii VC :P
