(I am on a laptop js) I had this issue for many months I think it started when I installed DS3 it worked fine but then I didn't need it anymore so I removed it. Since that Point when Bluetooth searches for devices it just shows a Bunch of Unknowns that you can't connect to. I thought buying an external Bluetooth receiver would fix the Problem but it's just the same with the Unknown connections popping up. The only solution I can think of is resetting my pc but I would rather not do that.
OS: Windows 10
My laptop uses an Intel chip for bluetooth

You really sure those are Intel ones?
Mine has RealTek bluetooth (drivers). Check it in system info.
In System info it says
Name [00000005] Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)
My bluetooth Drivers are:
Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R)
Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator
Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator

Microsoft drivers. Those get installed from Driver Foundation thingy.
Hm, let me find something really quick
Intel Drivers
Before you install these, Settings -> System -> Memory -> C:// -> Apps and uninstall Bluetooth drivers by Intel and install these.

The same problem still persists but Thanks anyways!

Not sure if it has to do with My drivers because even Using an external Bluetooth adapter that uses different drivers gives the exact same issue

Tap on Microsoft drivers and click Reset. They're in the same location where you uninstall stuff.

windows 10, especially after the last big update, has a lot of bluetooth issues
their forum is full of it. Try another OS and if it works there I guess you have to wait until MS gets their shit together

Anyone here?
Happened to me. Uninstall everything ds3 put into device manager, turn off pc, unplug everything from it, hold power button for 30 seconds, insert power, then when it turns on plug everything in one by one. Bluetooth drivers should then install.
