hii i've tried the scarlet method but the translation still don't worked
i used the english patched cia found on the internet ver. 1.1
then I update the game to ver. 1.2 and none of the translation works anymore
do i need to do something with the plugins or anything?
i think i've enabled the game patcher on the luma config (it has x mark on () instead of blank)

please help

You don't have to launch NTR or something, booting the game is enough. Everything else seems right to me, so if you booted NTR, just don't.

The cheats for NTRPlugin doesnt work on the 1.2.0 update of XX, has someone found a solution for this?

with this come some minor improvements and full 1.2.0 compatibility.

v4 doesn't come with a LayeredFS.plg file so it doesn't look like NTR is supported.

Multiplayer mode does not work and NTR does not work with version 1.2 there are a few tricks that work but only offline .. we should wait for them to update the tricks ... and the NTR if someone finds them or knows something to communicate it ... thanks Hunters

Of course online multiplayer doesn't work if you have speedfly plugin.
And "Translation TEAM" has nothing to do about that.

It does work online... Just use Luma. It has the same functionality as the LayeredFS plugin but it's easier and more convenient.

LOL amazing. Ngl, I enjoyed using Gateway Cheats with friends online to make the monsters move at x3 speed, but forcing cheat users to stay offline is much better overall.

With the file speedly and luma 8.1.1 you can only play offline ... but using Lima and its old plugin ... with version 1.2 of mhxx you can play online? As?

You're right. It doesn't seem to show up on freeshop yet. I think I got it from a QR code through FBI. Can't remember where, though :/

I signed up just to say thanks! It took me a while to find the 1.2.0 update. So when I found out the english patch wasn't working once I did, I died a little lol. Your post fixed it though~ Again! Thanks!

I actually found out it was working with Luma patching by accident. I was searching for the update CIA and I stumbled upon a user answering another guy who had the English patch not working

* assumes you have the latest game update installed
* luma game patching must be enabled
* luma v7.0.1 or newer required
- Download patch files from here <- This link
- Copy the folder "luma" onto the root of your SD card merging the contents.
- run MHXX

Have you tried to disable Luma patching? since the cia is patched with the translation you don't need to activate the patching anymore (assuming you were using Luma patching previously), otherwise I dunno what to tell you, for me it has been working fine.

Hey, how did you use HackingToolkit9DS to patch MHXX Update 1.2.cia with the ENG patch UI v4?
It doesn't matter if I apply the patch, to the romfs
Once I extract the CIA with HackingToolkit9DS, When I rebuild it. I just can't install it through FBI
