Thnx you, we just started playing online and without the patch it's super hard to do
Where did you find the new update (1.2.0)? I can't find it anywhere and eshop says it doesn't exist :( and i can't play online without the update.

Glad to hear there'll still be an update for v1.2.0! The cia seems to be 2.6.0, so using method 3 doesn't let me directly set a major number (tried editing the CIARebuild.bat, too, to have "-major 2" which didn't work.) If anyone could give clear instructions on how to rebuild the CIA for 1.2.0 then when the time comes, I'd appreciate that.

Thanks for the hard work guys!

Do the patch files not already work with 1.2.0? I downloaded it last night and I've been playing with the same files as before without issue.
As an extra note, I've been using Luma's patching for it.

Hey, how do you use Luma to apply the patch? I'm going to try NTR but if there's an easier way with Luma I'd love to try it myself.

Hecka simple friend. I was using NTR before, but this really is more convenient.
In your luma folder, create a folder called "titles". In that, create a folder for the MHXX stuff named "0004000000197100" (the title ID of MHXX). Inside that, make a folder called "romfs", and then just put all the patch files (the arc and table folders) inside that.
After that, you just enable game patching via the Luma Config Menu and it just works. Great stuff.

Just to illustrate the folder format:
luma
| titles
--| 0004000000197100
-----| romfs
--------| arc
--------| table

Thanks for the help.
I managed to get it all running properly for mhxx v1.2.0 on my US version 3ds
But I guess the problem now is how will we be able to convert the saved file or switch if the conversion app is in the Japan Eshop...
Any ideas?

Hello. By "put all the patch files (the arc and table folders) inside [the romfs folder]" do you mean whatever that is inside the arc & table folders should be put in the romfs folder?

Hi Izeman,

Thanks for the advice.
I did install the full version of the freeshop but I can't seem to find the app.
Sorry to trouble you but am I missing something here?
Or will it be updated into freeshop later?
