@marc_max Is there a reason we can't add PWPs? I put together a hacky script a while ago that you can put in the console which then allows you to add any building and it works absolutely fine.
If the problem is that the newly added PWPs don't show up in your town, there's a byte that stores how many pwps you're meant to have in town. If the save has more pwps than the amount the byte stores, the game just doesn't load the extra pwps. The offset that has the amount of pwps is MAP_BUILDINGS - 4. If you'd like the hacky script to understand how it works, feel free to PM me.

...I'll see if JKSM still works on 11.4.
Edit: Ok, so it froze with a green bottom screen twice in a row...
JKSM does not work on 11.4 (or it didn't for me), but it does work on 11.5 for some reason. It's a good thing it does, because I just screwed up the villager-selection-reset-exploit. Now I can get rid of all of the villagers I don't want! :D
And what's more, one villager moved so a corner of their house is on top of Bluebear's old plot. Now I can just have Bluebear there. I'm putting a gold nugget in her house, too, to represent the one that has been in the center of her old plot for the past... almost a year, maybe?
Too bad adding a new building corrupts data. Looks like Mitzi will have to wait until villager 10 moves in...
Funny thing: since I was given the game by a friend years back, I still have their data on it. They're the mayor- and oddly enough, I'm player 4. I deleted player 2 and 3 within a month of getting the game iirc, and it's easy to forget stuff from just over three years ago. Also, my sister made a new profile, which I think was listed under mine (until she moved it to her own game). Because of all of this, I actually thought I would be player 2.

Is there any way to get rid of the list of villagers who moved out of you town? This may be a dumb request, but I hate seeing a bunch of old villagers on my main street

Hello, I was wondering if the hex offsets for PWPs can be found in your editor.
If there is, thanks in advance.
Everything can be found here. Just note var Offsets are pre-Welcome Amiibo (garden.dat) and var OffsetsPlus are Welcome Amiibo (garden_plus.dat).

Maybe a dumb question but is there anyway to get the bow Celeste is wearing when she is in her RV (blue with stars) ? I'm guessing not, but it doesn't hurt to ask ^^

Hey, first off I wanted to say thanks so much for this editor!!! it's made new leaf so much more fun and has kept me playing for the last few years ^__^

I wanted to ask if it would it be possible to add the option of deleting / adding main buildings to the online editor again? like retail, town hall, the dock, etc. I previously deleted these buildings in some of my towns before with no trouble.

also , for editing the exterior of player's houses everything works except for the fence. it will change back the next day.

Follow 3ds.guide, it will walk you through getting CFW which allows for permanent homebrew access. All you need is a 3DS, a magnet, and a flash card.

Edit: Seems you can't apply custom pattern designs to villager outfits in the editor, so it's a moot point. If anyone knows a pattern editor that can produce .acnl files for pro designs with multiple qr images, please let me know. I can export my pro designs from the editor, but the one at thulinma doesn't seem to take .acnl uploads.

I've searched through the thread, and found how to switch between ground patterns, which is really helpful, but is there a way to select a pattern displayed in the able sisters to force my villager to wear it?

Drago is wearing the 2nd shirt from the left, and his shirt is set to "custom pattern", flag 1 "40", flag 2 "01". I assume the next shirt would be flag 2 "02" and so on? What is flag 1 for?

Additionally, is there a way to have extra patterns than is possible unhacked with .acnl files?

Wrong. You can do it ;-)
Set the custom shirt in the villager editor. The pattern slot is selected by a bitmask in flags IIRC.

is there anyway to turn a jpeg into a custom pattern kinda like how we can have a custom tpc image cause that would be pretty cool

Slightly off topic but is there a hack that allows you to insert your own files/pictures from your pc to your acnl game and use them as designs for town flags etc...?

There is now a new method to get access to Homebrew that works with 11.5.0.38E, the new method is called : RPGhax, it is free and relatively easier than the Soundhax method, go check on Youtube, there are some good step by step tutorials ;)
