so i have a formatted fat32 card with my games added & renamed with opl manager (both backed up from dvd using the forementioned program) but the games wont showup.. i cant play off dvd cause my dvd drive is broken and wont spin games..

i put them in usb:\opl\dvd\ like theyre supposed to be and they wont show up in the explorer. but theyll show up in opl manager simulator mode.

guessing your USB drive it's, by example your "G:" drive, the path must be:
G:\DVD
not G:\OPL\DVD
in the most recent OPL versions you can configure a custom path, just set it up if you have more issues

it is a fragmentation issue, just defrag the VMC file on your PC
if you do not know how to defrag, just copy every file on your USB to your PC, format your USB device to get the writing place on the top position and copy every file back to your USB drive.

eh. i can get 128mb for like $8 :/ imma just do that.
these 128MB fake MCs will just give you errors with a lot of games
my recommendation it's to use only the official 8mb ones
you can also create your VMC over SMB and then copy it to your pendrive and set it up on

try this:
1-format your pendrive
2-create the DVD, the CFG and the VMC folders
3-paste a small game on your pendrive
4-go to your ps2 and create a generic vmc
5-take the files on vmc and cfg
6-for the next games, just edit the cfg file and rename the vmc to the one you wanna use for that game, so you only will need to copy/paste the vmcs and edit the cfg to rediret to individual vmcs. I recommend you to create a 8mb one.
