Hey guys, I was checking some old boxes on my garage and i found an old flashcart i tried to see if it still worked but my 3ds wont recognize it and I can't identify which flastcart is it since the label is missing, any ideas that might help identify it?

label is missing, probably a dstt or an original r4.
if you have a ds/dslite (not dsi) try to launch it on that.

I think the label is missing because it fell off. I remember buying several Acekards and R4i Gold back when I still had my DS lite(I don't have it anymore). I opened it up to see if there was something on the board that could help me identify it and i found the code R4-50A which tells me its an R4 but doesn't help more than that since theres like a billion of different R4 clones by now

Well, pictures would definitely help...

If you still have a microSD that works, the file layout (or if not, the error message when you run it) are all good tipoffs

Yeah, but if it doesn't get recognized or displays a blank cart with no name then it's an old cart like a DSTT or an R4. So, use Apache Thunder's special .cia launcher and download the R4 version.

Apache's launcher wont work since my flashcart isn't been recognized by my 3ds

It might still work, but without the right files on the MicroSD card you'll just get an error.
Anyway, if you could get ahold of a DS to try it in, that might tell you which cart it is.
It's for sure not an original R4, those were gray and didn't have a cutout for the chip. DSTT is white so it's not that either.
