Hacking new 2DS XL in 11.4 ... hackable ?

Hi guys,

So I've got my brand new 2DS xl on 11.4 firmware ...
I've got a 2DS with Gateway cartridge ...
Can I Hack easily my new 2DS XL without Hardmod ?

Hack your old 2ds with this guide https://3ds.guide/ and with the same guide hack your new 2ds gateway is not usable on the new 2ds unless you hack it with the above guide

Well I'm back ... I followed the first part of the tuto.
Now I'm gonna try the second part "https://3ds.guide/finalizing-setup"

I've got 2 black icons when putting on my OLD 2DS.
But I'm afraid of the "Section II - Updating the System" ...

"Update your device by going to System Settings, then “Other Settings”, then going all the way to the right and using “System Update”'

In parameters I'm in Sys 8.1.0, if I upgrade my console, I won't be able to hack it anymore no ?
Am I on emunand ? How can I know it ?

btw what is the main purpose of "Show NAND or user string in System Settings" ?
in my system settings, there is no change.

When I press SELECT and power ON, it displays Luma3DS but, when I press START, it starts as usualy and in parameters I'm on Sys 8.1.0
I'm afraid updating my Sys 8.1.0 ...

Boot9strap protects you you can update as long as you complete the guide and all the show nand string is saying is if it says sys your in sysnand and if it says emu your in emunand

Do you see sys in front of your firmware number?

No because games and saves are encrypted to a system specific key. And even then, you don't have access to put the hacked files

now that I'm in 11.5 on my OLD 2DS, does it mean I've got to upgrade my New 2DS xl to be on the same firmware in order the hack to work ?
