Homebrew Unable to install CIAS

As I mentioned above SoundHax does not work on Luma 8.1 so he can't have CFW and therefore must be using a 3dsx file.

I continued the process, but after i opened udsploit and exited, i tried to open safehax. (not the 3dsx). It worked, but says I'm missing the 3rd file in the list down (sig or something?)

If you're where I think you are(the safeb9installer or whatever it's called) was everything on that list green? If so you should just carry on following the guide

You did not put the Boot9Strap.firm and th Boot9Strap.firm.sha in Boot9Strap folder.

Only the first two are green, it stops after it says i dont have the 3rd file.

I fixed everything and continued the tutorial, and everything is going smoothly. I am now able to install my cias! However, where the tutorial says to hold start during boot, nothing happens. I have tried this a couple of times and it just goes to the regular home menu.

I got a similar problem too. whenever i try to install cia through the FBI, it says Cert signature or hash check failed. This happens no matter what game i try to install. i dont think the cia has problem and i have tried to re inject the FBI to the h&s. I have luma and cfw installed. CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLZZZZ

Use freeShop instead of downloading the cia.

Open the 3ds SD on a computer And backup the dbs in the Nintendo 3ds/(Console Id)/(Console ID). Then edit them and make it blank. Then put the SD card in the 3DS and open System Settings, Data Management, 3DS, Software, and let it make new ones. Then install the CIAS

You can install by QR code using FBI -> Network Install -> QR Code Install

Visit the 3DS titlekeys site (Google it) and click the button that looks like a QR code under enctitlekeys. In freeShop go to the settings then the update tab and tick the top checkbox. Tap the QR code button and scan the QR code on your computer screen from the titlekeys site. Press Start to close freeShop then reopen it.
