So basically I had been trying for hours yesterday to get Pokemon Sun randomised using the latest nightly build of Lumen3ds and the SaltySD method. I finally cracked it early this morning after updating Pokemon Sun and using the 1.2 SaltySD patch. So I boot up the game and my starter is randomised and so was my rival battle and my first encounter on route 1 was randomised but each encounter since then is not random it's just the regular route 1 pokes :( any suggestions? I've tried updating lumen, restarting my system, checking everything is in the right place in the SD and ensuring that 'Allow game patching' is selected.

Thanks in advance

Try randomizing the encounter table again in PK3DS. That's really all you can do, just make sure the file has a new timestamp indicating it was edited recently before putting it in the correct spot on your SD card.

I will try that now thanks!

Yep rerandomising and replacing all files worked. Odd how the first pokemon was random but the others were not. Anyway thank you very much!
