Greetings, all. I was wondering if a code affecting Navarro points exists--or if, should that not be the case, one could be made.

My apologies if bumping isn't permitted in this forum, but I'm hoping to get a code for this--since LBX is apparently too niche for my location, and I do not think my router is capable of using the Homepass method.

I also did a quick search, and found that there are certain preferred circumstances for bumping (useful replies, post not worth making a new thread for). There's plenty of useful info in this one, so I imagined it'd be okay.

I managed to find the location at which the Navarro Point count is held: 0x08921F4C

There is something strange about this, though: I found it the first time without much of a problem. Months later--a few days ago--I searched for it again, but found the count at another address, and--though the values were correct, they did not affect the ingame Navarro Point count. Tried again, and found it at the aforementioned address--and this time, I could edit my Points.

I don't know if that means that the value has a dynamic address. This might have been what kept me from editing the currency value in another game. Could anyone tell me what happened here (I am new to memory editing)?

So far I've been able to modify: the AC, Defense/weight balance, Grade (including element bonuses), weapon preferences (skills? the two icons that show what type of weapon gives the boost), and base item type (bought an Odin? now it's a Xenon!) for LBX heads.

Can you please share me the codes you used? lol I know I'm too late for this

Sorry for bumping this ancient page. But let me just say, I like the fact that they designed the coding as such that it always changes on startup,
And even after save extraction, it's still heavily encrypted to the point that it takes a small niche of coders to flat out and state that you have to learn coding to even begin to scratch to surface of this game to even get even a drop of cheating into it.

No Save Editing.
No Complex Cheat Plugin.
Nada.
Forced, Raw, Fresh booted algorithm while it's running is the only way to get cheat into the game.

Literally forcing cheat coders to tell normal people who naturally hates math to learn more numbers so they can force feed the codes they made into the game.

Honestly, I'm surprised at how this game is coded. Even Fire Emblem wasn't this argumentative, seeing it has a save editor already.

it's not so much that they went above and beyond on save encryption/etc., it's that they added so many mechanics to the 'armor' type parts, its not practical to make broad, all-encompassing codes. That and there are less part slots than actual part types (by far), plus a reason to carry multiple variations of the same part. Even the "always changes on startup" is a couple of pointers and only applies to a small portion of the data the game uses for save info.

I've successfully gotten reliable codes made for money, maintenance gauges, weapons, shields, battle items, LBX cards, and essentially all non-armor parts/items without even needing to implement pointers. Granted HP stats/etc for in-battle would need pointers based on the battle type, almost everything visible out of battle is statically addressed. It's just not popular enough of a game for the 'pros' to come in and set up dynamic codes to let you edit each armor part as you wished.

Event he encryption likely wouldn't be too troublesome for those who already bypassed similar encryption on other games like MH4U/etc. It's just that no one who potentially could has cared to try (or at the very least, release their bypass/editor to the public).

Could anybody try to edit equipped LBX parts? I was able to hack in all of the weapons in the game, and I would like to be able to get the boss LBX as well.

So...How would I find 0x08892444 in a hex editor..? Sorry for the noob question I really don't Hex edit. Or if it is fine to ask may I just get a 100% save or something so I can mess around with the a hex editor to figure some stuff out. looking between a 0% save and 100% save...I guess?

you cant hex edit the save. it has encryption. NTR is the easiest method as it bypasses said encryption as the RAM data is still raw non-encrypted data.

Changelog:
9/16/15
Changed infinite credits and Battle Points cheat to be toggled by L+UP on DPad because i realized Select toggles the Pause menu in game, making it impossible to turn the cheat off.
Pressing X+R during a battle now sets all of your character's items to have 99/99 of them. This goes away as soon as the fight ends, but you can just refill during each fight. I haven't seen any negative consequences from accidentally pressing this outside of battle, so I may make it auto-refill like the infinite credits and Battle Points cheat.

Edit: changed to new link with prettier description and screenshots showing that I do indeed have 99 items equipped.[/QUOTE]

How u install and which file need to put at plugin?

Thank you for your report. I've updated the plugin, it was an error in the activate condition.
Though you need to set your language as English for it to work.

Friends could someone add to this plugin infinite life or maximum life for the team? regards

For those at all still interested in this, I finally revisited this game and already I've managed to nail down pointers most battle data (LP, BP, Tension, Chance Gauge). The battle pointers were a tad annoying as they used a double layer pointer (pointer1+offset -> pointer2 -> battle data). What also made it annoying is there's a normal single-level pointer to another region with the data for the OSD meters that usually throws people off when searching (especially since BP is stored differently there).

I'll likely be compiling this into a simple plugin once I nail down a few more addresses I've been meaning to find (Like Navarro Points). I'll also be switchign most of the "Unlock All" codes to "Owned ___ x50" codes as its less game breaking and preserves the fun while removing the grind somewhat. If someone here still has the offsets for parts' AC data (the tune up exp they gain every battle) I could slap on a code to automatically max all of them without disturbing the rest of the parts' data. That said, if I can get a little help nailing down the pointers to what parts are equipped on Van's frame (as he's the one available the most in-game) - preferably form one of the users here that looked into the areas previously - I may be able to also rig something up to change the weapon skills on specific HG and TG pieces when they are equipped so you don't need to farm a billion of them to find one that favors your weapon choice.

This sounds great! I was wondering if you could find what ids the parts equipped onto Van are, so that someone could potentially change Van's frame into a boss exclusive frame.
