Hello, I have an old laptop that I don't use. I also have a 3D Printer that I recently got. It is the Monoprice Select Mini. So what I want to do is be able to control the printer remotely by installing Octoprint, a "Raspberry Pi OS."

Is it possible for me to install Octoprint onto my laptop? I don't want to spend money on a Raspberry Pi at this point. What can I do?

It's possible to run pi OS's in a virtual machine but not on the hardware natively at boot. There in an app out there that can run Android on an x86 PC natively, actually here's a few ways to run Android on a PC.
