Hello!

So a week ago I made a post on how to run homebrews on my 3ds, and after 9 hours with the help of the people here I succeded. After that I did the same with my brother's 3ds and every thing went smoothly BUT!

My 3ds can't run DSware game and my brother's can. I did the same steps...what did I do wrong with none, when I run the games I just have a black screen and that's all.

So... any ideas please?

Which one of them? :)
also like my post
the NTR Launcher worked.

>like my post
WHAT
You can also enable in LUMA3DS Region Free to make it work, this unlocks blocked R4 flashcarts. if i know
well the above worked, but I have all those problems because I just don't know what luma is and what boot9..something is or what launcher is and pretty much what can I do with my system.

At least now everything is working fine, but if I have to update something or to backup my saves or games...I just don't know how to do it

Usually you can update the 3DS normally, but sometimes a Luma update might be required. You should already have Luma Updater so just use that to stay up to date on Luma (8.1 is currently the latest stable by the way) and if Luma ever breaks after an update then you may need to update B9S by following https://3ds.guide/updating-b9s.html

so.. what is luma and what is B9S? I mean.. in my psp when I used pandora batery back then, I just installed the CFW and everything from there was simple, I just knew the version of my CFW and everything was ok. Now with the 3ds.. what is the CFW? luma? b9s? anyway, I have to look the noobs guide I guess..

Read this page: https://3ds.guide (don't click on Get Started, just scroll down and read).
