There's that attempt to rewrite RxTools as well. Last I read, it wasn't really going anywhere, but it's being worked on.

The only thing to understand with ReiNand is if you play GBA/DSiWare games you need patched AGB/TWL cia installed to sysNAND and emuNAND if you play them on emuNAND.


Edit: I know this is not the ReiNand thread but here goes. On my B9S console I have Luma3DS as default loading and ReiNand set for chainloading through Luma3DS. If ReiNand gets AGB/TWL patching I will only use ReiNand as I do not utilize all the bells and whistles that Luma3DS offers. Though it fits the bill currently as I wait for ReiNand to add AGB/TWL patching.

Same. I don't need Rosalina, LayeredFS, and all that i just want to install CIAs

Tried that but booting the 3DS takes significantly longer for me.

I get what you guys come from, since you don't use everything Luma offers, but why are you complaining? It's not really a problem to have these options, since they're there if you need them, and you're really not losing anything from having them

Then you should reeeeally update.
rxTools never really went stable. TBH I don't know how your 3DS hasn't stopped working on a firmware level, at least on some aspects.

Still on 11.2 live and well. I sold it, so it will stay that way(keeping nand to myself ) I have to ship it next week so I have time to finish some gamez

I've accidentally activated Rosalina in intense sessions of Street Fighter a couple of times. But the point of this thread is that there should be vareity, there isn't an ice cream shop that has only one flavor because people want variety.

So instead of making it seem like Luma/B9S is forcing everyone to use the same CFW, why not ask why the devs of those other CFW seemingly don't care to keep their programs updated/compatible? Most people do this kind of stuff for free and what not, etc etc. There is nothing stopping those other devs from seeking support from B9S or Luma to implement the same in their own CFW. I'm not saying they're lazy, or that Luma is better because it works; I'm just saying that if it's anyone's fault we are all using Luma, it's the devs for cakes, corbenik etc.

It shouldn't because it shows help from all cfw. That would start a CFW wars, and that will be a mess.

What do you mean by up to date? ReiNand works with 11.4, it just doesn't patch AGB/TWL firms on the fly like Luma3DS so in order to play GBA/DSiWare you need to currently have patched AGB/TWL firms installed on sysNAND.

I will say that Luma3DS is being more actively updated compared to ReiNand. Although according to @CrimsonMaple ReiNand is still being worked on when time permits.
