Hacking Is Luma the only CFW atm?

Wheres ReiNAND, Corbenik, Cakes, etc. for B9S 1.2? Have all the devs on those cfws just quit? WHERES THE VARIETY?!?!?!?!?!??!

Cakes has been dead for a really long time, but I don't think Corbenik and ReiNAND are dead. Just slower at updating.

Luma updated day 1 and B9s 1.2 has been out for 2 weeks now I understand that this takes time but why is Luma the only CFW that was able to update day one?

Cakes is dead, ReiNAND evolved into Luma, Cobernik is still there, but slower since Luma has a "deal" with B9S, RXTools is dead (obviously), Pasta is dead, NTR is there like always, but never as a main, SaltFW and Cosmo3DS are forks of Luma and probs updating also.

Luma is really the only one that is under development alot. The reason is that lots of people help.

Nvm it was forked by Aurei, the source hasn't been updated in a year

Kind of. But they really don't gain anything from that, right? It's just a little annoying, but it's nice that they could make this CFW update so quickly. Someone's probably going to make a new CFW for B9S at some point.

No but i just want some variety, Something with modular patches like Cakes and Corbenik, A minimalist CFW like ReiNAND, a set it and forget it CFW like SaltFW etc. I feel like B9S has forced everyone to use the same CFW.

Can you link me that thread? I was fairly sure ReiNAND just stopped updating since Luma3DS is basically an update for it already.

Yeah, I get that. But, from what I'm seeing, Luma is just making everyone happy. It has a lot of things that are modular and is easily forked (from what we see in other CFWs), was based off of ReiNAND, and, if you wand, you can just forget about it most of the time. It doesn't force you into doing anything you don't want, form my point of view.

Actually, it's the other way around. Luma3DS devs helped out with B9S.

Then this forum shouldn't be called "Flashcards and CFWs" it should be called "Flashcards and Luma3DS"
