Halal and kosjer finally got forbidden by law here in Belgium and it's a damn time it did ! That it got forbidden is based on scientific studies that it takes ages for the animals to die and that they're in the most pain you can imagine while being butchered ...
Kudos to Belgium! I wish it was like all over the world to finally end the unnecessary pain, torture, and suffering.

Well good thing that vegetarians don't have this problem. But in my opinion, Halal or non-halal, if you eat meat you're supporting killing off animals. It's not like animals thank you if you kill them the non-halal way like "thank you for killing me off without pain, have fun eating me".

It's a good thing vegetarians aren't that different from people who believe in religion. Always forcing their own belief on 2 someone else calling people names like murderers and such ;). It's a sad world where you can't meet that many vegetarians who respect you for the choice you make like meat eaters do with vegetarians. Oh well

I respect the choice of vegetarians and vegans (almost envy them), but even though we can survive without meat, our bodies are capable and meant to digest meat just like many other carnivore animals who also feed on meat. It's the circle of nature, so there's nothing wrong with that per se. But religious torture and other means of suffering is completely unnecessary and definitely not natural.

Yep. The animals get slaughtered either way so it's not as if it matters too much how they're killed, they're being killed to be sold as meat so morals don't really apply here.

i've known a couple vegetarians who didn't give meat to their cats and i told them they're animal abusers since a cat needs meat to survive since it's a carnivore and they got triggered instantly

I see. Another thread to attack Muslim people for no point OP.

As an atheist... This is getting boring.

For someone who hates Muslim so much why did you buy halal food. That's Like a clan member wanking over a black woman porn.

What a bullshit and stupid post, of course it matters how animals are killed. Would you like a instant pain free death or a long agonising and painful bleed to death with your throat slit?

ROFL at that last sentence.

I don't think he hates Muslim, he just hates their dominant self centered and aggressive behavior and terrorism.

The drainage of the blood is through cooking. So for example, eating a steak as "rare" or "medium" cooked is not acceptable cause it would still have blood. That's why the norm in Islamic places would be "well done" cooking
Since I don't think anyone said anything, that "juice" that comes from steak isn't blood, it's just water and myoglobin. Same goes for just about any other cut of meat; chicken, turkey, pork, etc etc. It's a very common misconception, the only time you might encounter actual blood in most meats is if you're slaughtering it yourself, and you've done it relatively poorly.

You'll still eat the meat regardless of how the animal died so it doesn't matter.

Halal chicken tends to have blood so it's not just about slaughtering but rather that the procedure wasn't done properly as per their highness.

Have I stumbled upon MeatTemp?
Meat is important, at least to some of us.

My brother-in-law is a bit of a hypocrite, he hates and refuses to see farmed chickens get put down and stripped apart but then he'll eat like there's no tomorrow. lol
