I updated to Luma 8.0, and boot9strap, and have custom themes, and Freeshop, and that's about it. What all can I do with my CFW? I know the new Luma 8.0 has tons of new features, but I'm not 100% sure how to fully utilize all of them, and what to do next.. What are some ideas and CIAs I can install and use to get the very most out of my CFW?

Thanks Bunches.

Download every single thing you can find. Okay, maybe not, but download every single thing you think can be useful to you. Don't do like me. I have a folder and a half full of only homebrews. That i almost never use.

You can now back up your saves without having to copy your entire SD card. You can also back up saves from Cartridges.....it's a beautiful thing.

and how exactly do you do that?
Install and enjoy a save manager (recommended: JKSV)

As for "cool" things:
Edit the text of almost any app (relatively popular is changing the pre-shutdown screen "while in sleep mode, your console will be able to...")
Edit the keyboard for custom keys (this is halfway between cool and practical :D)
Pack custom and less custom themes into your own DLC title, so that you can change them with the official selector
Make the notification led glow of all colors, or if that's not your cup of tea, turn all of them off :)
Custom fonts

Technically, none of these are CFW features, although you need signature patches (provided by a CFW) to do them

Download and extract system font cia
Use ctr_fontconverter (from sdk) to convert ttf>bcfnt (https://github.com/JayFoxRox/3ds-font is a complementary tool, converts glyph pictures to/from bcfnt)
Create cia with custom font, encrypt, and install (maybe Luma layeredfs supports fonts too, on paper it should)

Or grab premade font cias from reddit, "3dsfonts" or something like that

Note that 99,9% of fonts on this planet don't have the Nintendo proprietary symbols so you won't see button icons, etc

the custom turn on screen is those splash themes right? How do you install those?
Create image of appropriate resolution
Convert image to "proprietary" format (rotated raw, you can use Imagemagick on PC or a webapp - see Luma wiki)
Put in appropriate path according to your CFW
Enable splash screen in CFW settings, if your CFW requires you to manually enable them

Download ROM hacks
o3DS is a bit tricky, as to my knowledge, Smash3DS, Pokemon SuMo, and large games like this cannot be hacked.
Which sucks because I have 2 2DSes
Wanted to get a N3DS,, but was $15 short, so I just got another 2DS.

This
How do? Specifically the shutdown screen. I need to know how to do this :P
Extract the home menu cia down to the romfs
Find the "messages" file for your favorite language
Decompress (lz11) and edit with a MSBT text editor
Recompress, repack, encrypt, make a nand backup since your will probably have screwed up your first attempt, install

Wrong (unless you use outdated methods like Hans)
Rebuilding a cia, and probably Luma layeredfs if you use that cfw, should work on any title
