You have to install the luma updater specifically for BS9 that the guide provides. The one you have installed already only works for A9lh.

Okay I'll try that I'm pretty sure I downloaded and installed the one from the 3DS.guides but I'll double check

I figured it out i had to replace the lumaupdater.cfg file on the root of my SD card thank you very much.

• If you get stuck on the loading configuration file or get an error message such as "Unknown or wrong config value", either delete the lumaupdater.cfg file on the root of your SD card or change the payload type in the first line of lumaupdater.cfg to payload type = SIGHAX and payload path = boot.firm

Even I have a tough time not thinking 'BS9', when I know it's 'B9S'. It's not easy. Especially when watching Star Trek: Beep Space Nine.

Eh, calling it bs9 is a little more understandable. Boot9Strap feels wrong to me, even though it's correct. But seriously? ArmLoader9Hax?
