Hacking Whitelister problem on PS TV

I've been trying to play a game called "Love Live! School idol paradise", I bought a PS TV just to play these games specifically (I couldn't find a affordable 3.60 Vita anywhere). I'm sure there are other games out there that have the same issue, I did the 00000 method, whitelister apps, and replacing files but none of them worked. Please help, I've been dying to play these games. Is there a way to play these games because I'm having no luck with anything.

The message says "This application cannot be used with this system. If the application is supported by the PlayStation TV system, update the application."

look up antiblacklist it the v2 of it which is an app.db edit...

u can check if u have whitelist v2 installed by looking in the appinfo table of your app.db. u can even redo it if that's the problem. also, do know that this only works for 90% of games or so. the other 10% contain param.sfo flags that we can't touch yet. I don't know for sure if that's what's going on with your game or not though.

what exactly do i have to do to check if I have it?

btw, u don't need to do the eml trick since u have access to the file system with henkaku. it's not difficult to do either. this is what antiblacklist is doing.

the email part to that guide... we have easy access to app.db now through vitashell....

nvm you corrected yourself haha as for the antiblacklist it easier and can revert the db if needed from the gui.

I don't suggest whitelist v2 anyway. u won't be able to play dlc with it active.

I thought that only apply to official game not dump games.

I dunno. I've never tested it before. the only dlc I bought was for tales of hearts r. I dumped all of it (costumes). the game works without whitelist v2 though. I'd say it wouldn't hurt to test the game with whitelist v2, because if a game requires it, u can't play it anyway without it, so the dlc issue is moot.

Currently I only have vol. 2 BiBi in testing right now. Still haven't been able to play it.

I just did this and it still didn't work. I got the same error on my PS TV and SQLite said "trigger CHANGE_CATEGORY_GPC already exists:"

the whitelist should be blank. if u do, I'm afraid that that game may not work.

PCSG00423 correct? .... there should be only one though unless it get localize elsewhere.

You sure you apply it right? How large is your file list_launch_vita.dat?

Also mine work fine on the PSTV =3

Looks like thats the correct one. I'm currently testing this one but I also have on hand Lily White and Printemps (Which are PCSG00422 and PCSG00424) to test later. My FTP client says that it is 41 bytes. Is that the size its meant to be?

Yea that sound about right since the real one is about 8mb. Do you have any other games known to have pstv issue? Bad install/dl?

It was some method I saw on reddit at r/vitahacks I found here and it didn't work for me. This is the only game I tried so far that shouldn't be compatible with the PS TV because I got a few Persona games and Senran Kagura. However if a bad install is the case then I'll give the other games a look. That might potentially be the case.

Also yeah I installed both v1 and v2 of whitelist and I got 3.60 with Henkaku.

Okay so it turned out that vol.2 was a bad file. I just installed Lily White and it booted up. Shame since that was the vol that I wanted to play the most. Oh well thanks so much for telling me that it was a bad install, I thought it would've been the same way for the other two.

yea... through my other research and post for confirmation on this forum I notice sometime bad install from transfer ftp, extraction, or even download. Still yea if other one work then problem lied with the game itself.

I personally didnt do any of that 00000 method only manually did v1 white list and used antiblacklist for v2.

Yeah I just installed another version with Mai and it worked just fine. I should've just tested the others but oh well. Anyways thanks so much. Also learned that the USB storage from VitaShell works with my PC so I'm going to start copying files directly rather than using a FTP server. Its far more faster.
