Hi i just upgraded my 3ds succesfully from arm9 to b9s. I heard that you can now press home button from homebrew launcher rather than pressing start to reboot. So i tried that and it worked, but once i pressed closed application i got an "An Exception Occurred" as well as "you can dump in the following file: dumps/arm11/crash_dump_00000002.dmp" and"press any button to shutdown". I was wondering if this is normal since this update is knew and all, and if anybody has found a fix or has the same error, Thank you :).

I got a similar error trying to change the music in FreeShop.

It would probably help the devs gather more into if you attached that .dmp file to this post, or maybe even reported it as an issue on the github page. Just a suggestion.

I also got this when messing with a NTR cheat plugin for AC:NL. It happened to me after a big transition, like visiting someone else's town.

this is what happens when we disable nintendos stability

we shouldve seen this coming D:

Seriously though, that's rather odd...

Can you try doing it again, and telling us what you did to produce that error?

oh

...

Huh, ok, glad you got it to work. It's not an issue with Luma apparently then, lol.

I can't seem to replicate the bug, I vaguely remember leaving the online island and mashing b, but I can't seem to get it to crash.

Huh, okay.

Well, it's good that it's not crashing at least.

My issue is actually replicatable, so I'll probably report it to both the devs of FreeShop and Luma tomorrow.

Glad to hear you guys managed to fix the issues you were having.

Aha! I found a crash! With CTGP-7 loaded with NTR version 3.3, I left Mario Kart 7 and tried to go to the eShop, when I got the error.

I also managed to replicate this, it is due to the combination of CTGP-7, NTR 3.3, and leaving from Mario Kart 7 with the custom cc plugin on.

im at the same spot. what did you do exactly to get soundhax working again because i have boot.3dsx on the root of the sd card. do i need to move it to another location?

also the guide at 3ds.guide says to system update but i dont understand why because the steps dont really add up.

im scared that if i update i wont be able to use soundhax to access my homebrew launcher

you will loose soundhax but Rosalina in 8.1 while in it's Buggy state does work for the most part w/o ever needing HBL Payloads again. if you need to use oldre HBL w/o Rosalina compile teh Legacy branch of Luma and use the appropriate vers Payload to continue using HBL (but if yrou on that old a FW Migrate to B9S before doing so.)
