Following a fork of the guide is probably a bad idea. It won't be as updated (they'll have to remember to pull the changes after each commit).

What about B9S 1.2 + Luma 8?

Luma can be ran several different ways. From b9s or a9lh or from menu hax.
so are you using arm9loaderhax.bin on your sd card to run it. if so then https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s

AFAIK the original guide was plagued with drama or something from the original author so a fork was made to keep it drama free and in the process add a few notes.
I actually followed more closely the fork but at the end of the day I have my doubts regarding my screenshot.
I recommended it because when it comes to this stuff one can never be too safe.

Some of these issues are being reported by some users... but not all (also some listed also apply to older version of luma)...

also firms must be updated before they will once again work on latest b9s 1.2. So godmode9.firm has to be updated plus any other payloads you want to use. Not per say broke but not exactly working.

I don't know if NTR is working on latest yet? anyone else know since I don't use it...

I'd say it's probably never safe to link to forks of the guide unless there's very good reasons to. besides all that "drama" stuff has been removed for a while.

Well as of now both links have exactly the same info with the fork having more warnings.

then don't follow the fork if it's modifying the page. updating to b9s 1.2 is just fine. it's doing that in more ways than you think too (look at the bottom...)

that message is only on a fork, the real guide does not have it.
