Why would that need to be private. I'd understand a little better if it's for a good reason. I waited too long for there to be no public solution. That took a lot of patience
IDK why its private, but from what I understand, you need to inject it into the memory and then immediately boot to the NAND. Otherwise, it is reset on reboot

I think is private because most of devs don't like piracy soo this payload its a chance to make piracy more easy i think it sucks
Yeah but if you're using a spare 3ds and get banned again, then it's that's just stupidity. I learned my lesson from my one and only mistake.

There lies the problem because I'm not sure how to do that, unless pressing home for the home menu does this

Basically I did the method, using a CTCert from a different 3DS, all was fine, then both got stuck by the friend code thing ban. But all my other 3DS consoles using homebrew etc didn't get either bans?

I'm in much of the same situation, only my 2DS has been hyperbanned since August. I bricked it while trying to upgrade to B9S though, and since I have my N3DSXL, it doesn't really matter to me what happens to it.

I was hit with both in November and was able to unban 002-0102 but not 022-2812. I wasn't affected by the recent ban wave fortunately

I was foolish enough to go online in SuMo before the release date and also got stuck with the ban. But only on that one 3DS, the recent ban only hit two that 3DS and the other one I mentioned. Luckily enough, the rest are untouched. I hope you can find more help than I can provide, personally I think it being public would be a lot better for the community but then again, you see what happened with the dev of NTR, Cell9. It may not even be a stable as of yet this being worked on privately. Patience is indeed key, we will succeed!

How did you brick upgrading to BS9?

I was foolish in that too. I wish the hell I hadn't done it. I ended up buying both games anyway but I didn't wanna wait that 10 days though

I'm not entirely sure myself. My system wouldn't boot when the guide told me to boot without the SD card. I must've screwed something up, but this system has been through 3 CFW exploits already.

*raises hand*
Me too...
All because after hesitating to not use online, I decided to experiment a bit for 5 minutes after hearing some moron saying "it's okay to go online"!, I was being smart!
Ugh. XD

That case I just told you, was from my older bro @KytuzuEX he is such a shallow person but he got out of character :rofl2::rofl2:

...Thanks for redirecting me to this thread but not for the other thing, you... moron.

Anyways, I have been also banned from that with my 2011 3DS, just by connecting for 5 minutes...

I've been looking for the payload that allows one to inject DeviceID.bin and CTCert.bin from 3ds into another. I know it exists as I've seen another user actually do it. I was wondering if someone who has it could please upload it. I've been waiting for it for around 8 months now and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
Me and only like four other people in the world have this payload. It's not publicly available anywhere because we don't want it getting patched. A similar method was patched in the past because it was made public, and this is the last resort we have until it's discovered whether or not we can directly manipulate CTCert.

See that's understandable. I wish you would've said that sooner. But that hope I had of finally being completely unbanned is gone again. Copying the the DeviceID.bin and the CTCert.bin to the virtual memory using GM9 won't work will it?

Unfortunately no, because when you reboot the console to go to the home menu the RAM will be flushed and reset. However, now that we have bootrom access, we should be able to directly manipulate CTCert. We weren't able to in the past because it is OTP locked.

now that we don't have to worry about the otp being locked out(and even decrypted now) hopefully this problem can be solved soon. BTW, is your solution a permanent fix or a temporary one?

Oh, I think I get it!
It's never going to be released anyway so we should do our job and to report this trick to Nintendo ASAP.
