Hacking Did I brick ? Help !

Hey all, Please help if you can.

I have a older 3DS XL (3 button below lower screen), it was on 11.3.0-36u. So, figured follow 3ds.guide to give it a CFW, I am going along fine then I get to the "Section II - Launching SafeB9SInstaller" and down to "Launch safehax from the list of homebrew"

After launching safehax according to directions, All appears go fine no issues (did this before on another device), then the screen goes black. I waited 10 min but, the light on the 3DS was off. Now when I hit the power button the blue light comes on for a split second and goes right off, nothing showing on the screen. It's still off a 1/2 hour later. Nothing I have tried has got it to boot up, (holding power, etc).

The battery was charged 100% when starting this and Wi-Fi was on.

Is there a way to recover this ?

Plz help ! This is not my 3DS...

Put the luma 3ds boot.firm file on the sd card for the system to boot

No, you don't have a valid boot.firm at the root of your SD card. Follow the rest of the guide, if you get to Section 2 on the last page and it still won't boot, then come back and tell us.

Did you make sure to rename safeB9Sinstaller.bin to safehaxpayload.bin?

Did you make sure to rename safeB9Sinstaller.bin to safehaxpayload.bin?

if he hadn't, it would've probably just exited with an error, not shut down.

The light fades in, then fades out?
Sounds like B9S installed successfully. Do what other people suggested.

Thank god, Yea, after the next section it came back up. Thanks as always and sorry for freaking out a bit. After the next part, it seems to be working now...
