If you have your 3DS, yes. If not, you must have your xorpads

how do i check my current seed?

If you have decrypt9, you would do a system file dump of your movable.sed/LFCS_B from there. Use a computer with a hex editor to view the seed in comparison to your current one to see if they don't match. GodMode9 can view these files on the NAND without dumping them.

I have both, the N3DS doesn't get used and is still on FW 9.x.

Cheers. Do you know if both consoles can actually operate at the same time? Or do you think that could be a way for Nintendo to ban them both if the same seed is active on two separate 3DS consoles?

If I buy a 3ds just for being clean online, should I buy whatever 2nd hand updated 2ds/o3ds I find (cheaper ut might be banned), or go for a new2dsXL (more expensive but new and guaranteed clean)...?
