ROM Hack question about cheat plugins and game hacks

Just a question I've had for a bit. I just recently installed Pokémon Eternal X using Luma and was wondering if it's at all possible to use a cheat plugin with the hack. I asked cause I was planning to do the same for Nova Sun later on (once the SuMo cheat menu plugin gets updated for the 1.2 update)

Use the pokemon x original ntr plugin. It'll work as I use it too with no problems

ah interesting, though I did find one thing, the all shiny pokemon cheat causes the game to crash.

Use PKSM to change caught pokemon into shiniest.
