Without a hardmod, you need an ARM9 exploit. With a hardmod, the known plaintext attack should work.

Keep in mind that AFAIK, DSiWarehax still works, meaning you'd be able to install it using the DSiWare inject + system transfer method and the known plaintext attack.

That's true. DSiWareHax is effectively the same as a hardmod, since you get raw NAND access.

Not downgrade, but system transfer said DSiWareHax from CFW'd console to an unmodded console and install that way.

DSiWare Downgrade was patched in 11.3 if memory serves me right.

Not downgrade, but sighax installation. You'd obviously then have the capability to do whatever after that point.

DSiWarehax was previously used for NFIRM downgrading, which was patched by requiring the latest NFIRM for the home menu to work. The same method should be able to install sighax. Calling it a downgrade is incorrect though.

sighax allows CFW, cfw allows whatever cfw normally allows, so yeah you can use spoofing tools etc, but you can also just update as normal and keep cfw like what a9lh does

Apparently, if SigHax will be released tomorrow.

Technically it was dumped by Derrek in December of 2016 but yes, I believe Hedge dumped the bootrom a day or two ago.

How does this have anything to do with Gateway? The Gateway team can't even be arsed to support 11.3+ or protect the FIRM partition when using A9LH. Unless you mean that they have just been waiting for sighax to be released so they can swoop in later and claim it as their big triumphant victory.

No. You need a hardmod. Unlike A9LH on 11.4 you can actually use a hardmod.
