Hey guys!
So, I bought a Supercard DSTwo not knowing how much I'd have to do to get it running.

I figured out I had to downgrade my firmware of my (old) 3DS, which was on version 11.0.0.35E.

For this, I used the following videotutorial:

This went very well, but there's one bad thing:
In the video he mentions the case, that the Nintendo 3DS won't boot up anymore.
He suggests to take out SD card, boot the Nintendo 3DS then and put in the SD card afterwards.
Well, this worked, even though I had to it everytime now when booting my 3DS. In the video he talks about once.

So yeah, I then proceeded with this guide:
https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax

And that's where the struggle got real.
First of all: I created a shit ton of backups, everytime I was supposed to and even more.
The first section asks me to back up serialnumber>_nand.bin, if it exists. Well, it didn't, so nothing to back up.
So yeah, I worked through that guide and got to section 3, configuring Luma3DS.
The last step this section says:
"If you get a black screen, just continue to the next section"

Great! That's still the case for me!
So I skipped section IV and proceeded with section V, "Injecting FBI".
I finished that section and the next section asks me to launch the "Health & safety app".

Well, fuck me!
What happens now is:
My Nintendo 3DS will just print a black screen when booting with SD card.
When I remove the SD card and try to launch it, the blue-light turns on for a second and then immediately shuts off again. With SD it still boots, but remains in the black-screen.

So, what to do now?
Did I brick my system?
If you're telling me "restore with your NAND", please explain what you mean.
I backed so many things, but I have no clue what "the NAND" is? Is it the otp.bin file?
Is it the serialnumber>_nand.bin that didn't exist on my system anyway?

Sorry, if those are dumb questions - I just really don't get all this shit and spent so much time to even find those guides.

Thanks in advance!

What file did you make backups of? What are the name of them?

edit: Also, never use video tutorials. Ever.

They tend to outdate rather quickly.

First error you made: you followed a video guide. Always follow 3ds.guide

You should do section 4. If you don't have a serialnumber>_nand.bin file, find another 1-2GB bin file with the correct size pulled from your 3ds. (NANDmin_emu.bin)? You certainly didn't brick.

First of all I backed up my whole SD card before having done ANYTHING.
And then I kept backing up all the stuff that I was asked to, e.g. the otb.bin file.
Also, I was asked to delete "tickets" starting with 01 - I backed up all of them, just in case.

I don't have any 1-2 GB file though.

Luma3D is still launching properly.

I don't care if I had to "reset" the nintendo to like 'factory mode', there's no possible data to be lost.

Do you have a file called "NANDmin.bin" and "NANDmin.bin.sha" in your files9 folder?

If there is no data, great. Our problem became a lot easier to solve.
https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer should work fine.

Sorry, I totally don't understand anything this is saying.
You want me to start following that guide now?

Will I have a working 9.2 afterwards?
Yep, it'd basically be a fresh install though, because it's a new NAND, afaik.

if u have Luma3ds installed older flashcards will work, so if the flashcard says it will work upto 9.2, that means it will work upto 9.2 on OFW but in Luma3DS it does work because Luma3DS unblocks those flashcards

Wait, what?
I'll be on 11.4 then?

I think my flashcard will only work with 9.2?
Got kinda confused now.
Don't use the Gateway clone feature of DSTwo plus. If you use a launcher file that's too recent your console may get bricked (Gateway doesn't like clones).

You can use the DS flashcart part of the DSTwo fine on all firmwares.

Also, you have to do the 9.2 CTR transfer because you failed to make a NAND backup.
