Homebrew Playing Pokemon Moon online again

So I have a new 3ds xl and under system settings it's version "Sys 11.2.0-35E" and I have to update my 3ds in order to battle online again. Is there a way yet with this whole 11.4 update thing that I can without messing up my hacked console? I have homebrew under soundhax (and i know it's down now) plus I do have OoT 3ds. So any ways yet? Thanks

Well, if you have A9LH and Luma, you can make a nand backup and update to 11.4, but it will break Soundhax. If you have the home menu launcher though, then that still works iirc.

Though if you don't wanna update, you could just use ctr-httpwn to go online without having to update.

edit: If you don't have Luma or A9LH though, don't update, and follow 3ds.guide.

Just set up custom firmware. It's Homebrew that Nintendo can never take away from you with loads more features. Start here.
After you have custom firmware set up, you can update without worry.

So now I downloaded a CIA of homebrew through FBI so it's accessible on my home menu without using soundhax. I can update now and still use homebrew and FBI?
I did try using ctr-httpwn but it just had errors every time I ran it, maybe I'm using the wrong file or doing something wrong I'm not sure.

If you have A9LH+Luma, then yea, but it's probably a good idea to make a nand backup first, just in case you wanna go back.

I think ctr-httpwn is patched. Make a NAND backup and update. Your CFW and homebrew access will be fine.
