Get a PSP for those ones.

You can get one for about 60 bucks.

Right, I wanted someone to elaborate this for me. It's not that it's not possible (The N3DS has a far faster cpu than the PSP) but something else limits the possibility?

The retroarch Playstation emulator is the only functional emulator for 3ds.
And you have to find an old version that works. For some reason the newer versions are much worse than before.

Even if a PSP emulator were possible on the new3DS, it would be completely unplayable. Hell, the PS1 is basically unplayable.
Just buy a PSP

I'm still using my PSP, was looking around for an AIO solution, but the only thing that came close to it was the GPD XP, ain't ready to spend that much money.

I heard a PS Vita can do both PS1 and PSP games just fine and with the proper control scheme also.

Source: Myself using a PS Vita for PSP and PS1 games

Due to the Vita already having a PSP mode to run them on and using VHBL/ARK/whichever, am not versed much with it even though I own one

With the AdrenalineCFW plugin for Henkaku, 3.60 Vita firmware can run PSP (ISO/CSO and PSP eboot) and PS1 games [PSX eboot] (with sound)
But isn't the vita several times more powerful than the n3ds?
Why hasn't anybody made a Playstation (portable) emulator for vita mode yet?

Anyways this thread is about ps(p) emulation on n3ds. Playstation emulation is meh, and psp emulation hasn't (and likely wont) happen.

There's no need to do a PSP emulator on the Vita when the Vita can natively "use PSP mode". If you can hack a PSVita, you can use the PSP mode.
